This sunny yellow curry noodle salad brings color and spice to any party buffet

This recipe for an easy curry pasta salad is unbelievably delicious.

Why is curry powder always so shiny?

The answer is quite simple: turmeric.

Turmeric is the main ingredient in most curry spice blends and is responsible for the beautiful bright yellow color.

The other ingredients vary depending on the manufacturer and intensity.

In common curry powders you will find, among other things, cumin, fenugreek seeds, coriander seeds, garlic, fennel or chili.

Our tip for more aroma: Sweat the curry powder in a little oil until it smells and only then add the other ingredients.

Incidentally, curry powder not only goes well with pasta salads, but also with soups, rice dishes, fish, vegetables, meat and dips.

That's how it's done:

You need these ingredients:

• Pasta salad:

• 1 tsp salt

• 350 g pasta (e.g. penne)

• 100 g corn ad can

• 150 g frozen peas

• 150 g red peppers, diced

• 80 g spring onions, cut into rings

• Dressing:

• 100 grams of yoghurt

• 3 tbsp mayonnaise

• 100 g gherkins, diced 

• 3 tbsp cucumber water

• Salt 

• pepper

• 2 tbsp curry powder
