"The cooking is excellent, you don't always succeed in the same way when you do it yourself", shares Philippe, finishing his bite.
To celebrate the end of the week, this resident of Versailles came to dine on the temporary terrace of the Trianon Palace.
On the menu: a barbecue but… chic!
The Chef of the Trianon Palace, Frédéric Larquemin, has launched the concept of the “Trianon Champêtre” for this summer.
Every Thursday and Friday evening, as well as Saturday lunchtime, braziers are set up on the lawn to cook a selection of grilled meats in front of customers: "Saint-Louis" pork belly, rack of lamb from Aveyron and octopus from rock.
All this served with fries and three homemade sauces: béarnaise, chimichurri and barbecue.
A selection of high-end products
In this friendly atmosphere animated by a DJ, the codes of the palace are respected: carefully chosen products, white tablecloth and aesthetic dressage.
"It's very nice to see the chef cooking in front of us," shared an English tourist couple.
The “Trianon Champêtre” formula is offered at 55 euros per person.
It should last until the end of September, "weather permitting", specifies the chef.
