Do you love warm, fresh rolls, but don't feel like going to the bakery for them?
Just do it yourself – lightning fast, even for beginners.
Fresh rolls are the highlight at breakfast.
Unfortunately, most of them have to travel a more or less long way to the baker they trust.
Of course it's worth it, because nothing beats freshly baked rolls, but if you don't want to leave the house today, you can bake rolls yourself.
With this simple recipe, it's a lot quicker than you think - especially if you follow the pan tip at the end!
No waiting time for these rolls to bake yourself
Real baker's buns consist mainly of three ingredients - flour, water and yeast.
Baking malt may also be added, but that's not a must.
If you bake with yeast yourself, you need to plan a little time.

2.5 hours of resting time are usually necessary for the rolls to rise nicely.
That means you have to get up early if you want to enjoy your freshly baked rolls for breakfast.
But there are also non-yeast alternatives like this recipe that will save you a lot of work and time.
Quick breakfast rolls - even without an oven: You need these ingredients
1 cup Greek yoghurt (200 g)
200 grams of flour
2 teaspoons of baking soda
1 pinch salt (optional)
Forget the best-before date: this is how you can tell if a food item has spoiled

How to bake quick breakfast rolls without yeast
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees - unless you try our pan tip below.
Pour the yogurt into a bowl and save the yogurt pot.
Simply fill the cup with flour to the brim.
In a second bowl, mix the flour with the baking powder and a pinch of salt.
The yoghurt usually has enough taste.
Now knead the flour with the yoghurt to form a dough - by hand or with the dough hook of the hand mixer.
The dough is rather moist.
If it's too sticky to handle, add a little more flour little by little.
Form three to four rolls from the dough with floured hands and place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
Now all you have to do is bake the buns for about 20 minutes until they are golden and crispy.
It is best to eat the rolls while they are still warm and fresh.
They are not suitable for storing, but since they are made so quickly, you do not have to bake the rolls in advance.
Tip: Bake rolls in a pan instead of in the oven
If you don't want to heat up the oven for the few rolls, you can simply bake them in the pan.
To do this, brush a pan with a thin layer of oil and place the rolls in it.
Flatten them a little, then fry them on both sides over low to medium heat until golden brown.
This makes the rolls crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.
