FIFA 23 is coming soon.

Will EA release a free pre-release demo this year?

Playing the demo of the latest offshoot has long been a ritual for many "FIFA" fans.

Usually only one friendly game with two current top teams was playable.

Nevertheless, it was a welcome opportunity for football simulation fans to try out the revised gameplay.

In recent years, however, there have been no more pre-release test versions.

Will there be a demo of FIFA 23?

FIFA 23 demo unlikely

Although EA has not yet officially announced a "FIFA 23" demo, there probably won't be one this year either.

Instead, fans of the series have a few alternatives to play with prior to release, though they aren't free.

So fans can play "FIFA 23" before the release

  • One option is to buy the "FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition".

In addition to a number of other benefits, this gives players access three days before release, allowing them to start playing early on September 27th.

The clear disadvantage is of course that this version of the game is significantly more expensive: The "FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition" costs around 100 euros.

  • Subscribers to EA Play can also play earlier.

They too can get started on September 27th.

This includes all game modes and players can also take over their entire progress if they decide to buy "FIFA 23".

EA Play subscribers also get a 10% discount.

But the downside is that Early Access can only be played for a total of ten hours.

Incidentally, EA Play is integrated into Xbox Game Pass for PC.

"FIFA 23" the last part of EA

"FIFA 23" is probably the last part to be published under this name by EA Sports.

The publisher announced that the series will be continued as "EA Sports FC" in the future because EA has lost the license.

It is unclear whether another developer will take over the naming rights and produce their own "FIFA".
