(ANSA) - ROME, AUGUST 08 - Parkinson's disease: this is the diagnosis that would have been given to the Danish director Lars Von Trier, Golden Palm at Cannes for Dancer in the dark among the dozens of awards of a career.

The Danish media reported the news, also relaunched by American film sites, that the historic Trier production company, Zentropa, has today made public the disease for the 66-year-old author of the Dogma 95 movement.


    The director of Dogville, Antichrist, Melancholia (sensational case in Cannes with his 'pro-Nazi' declarations that banned him for a decade) and even before the Ondedel Destiny, he is working on the third and final part of his cult TV series of the 90s, The Kingdom: The KingdomExodus was announced as a world premiere at the Venice Film Festival 2022.
