A long-lasting conflict
The employees in Spain of Ryanair had launched this strike on June 24, then extending it until July 28, to demand an improvement in working conditions and the signing of a collective agreement.
The unions, believing that the conflict is at an impasse, have organized a third cycle of strikes, much more extensive, since it began on Monday and must continue until January 7, 2023, at the rate of four days a week ( from Monday to Thursday).

The only international company not to have a collective agreement in Spain, according to the unions, Ryanair recently reached an agreement with the union CCOO (Workers' Commissions), a minority among the flight crew.
But this agreement was rejected by the USO and the SITCPLA, which consider it insufficient and claim, in addition, the reinstatement of 11 striking employees dismissed last month.
