Lebanon is the country that occupies the first place in the world in the degree of anger and rage of its inhabitants.
This is according to a worldwide survey conducted by the American analytics and consulting company Gallup.
The data was collected from the end of 2021 until the middle of 2022. In second place in the "Anger Index" is Turkey, followed by Armenia.
The "Al-Arabiya" website, which reported on the findings of the survey, stated that the situation of the Lebanese residents is partly due to dealing with corruption in the country, as well as due to the economic collapse caused by the ruling elite.
Together with the Corona epidemic and the tragic explosion that happened in the port of Beirut in 2020 - the results are absolutely understandable.
According to the report, 49 percent of Lebanese residents experience continuous anger, regularly, including of course on the day the survey was conducted and the day before.

What are the Turks angry about?
In Turkey, the number stands at 48 percent, where levels of anger stem from high inflation that worsened with the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, which began in February this year.
Armenia, in third place, shows an anger rate of 46 percent, due to the political tensions with neighboring Azerbaijan.
The two countries are in conflict over the disputed territory of Nagorno-Karabakh.
In fourth place is Iraq (46 percent) followed by Afghanistan (41 percent).
There, most of the problems stem from the socio-economic situation of the residents, resulting from long years of war.
In sixth place is another of our neighbors - Jordan, with a continuous anger rate of 35 percent.
The comprehensive report analyzed many emotions, and was carried out in more than 100 countries in the world.
For example, he checked the rate of depression in each country.
In this index, Afghanistan ranks first, followed by Lebanon and Turkey.
In fourth and fifth place - Guinea and India.

Israel: Not angry, but not really smiling either
Israel ranks 36th in the anger ranking, with 14 percent experiencing continuous anger in daily life.
However, we came in particularly poorly on the Smile Index, which tests how much people of different nationalities tend to smile.
In this case, Israel is in sixth place from the bottom.
In the first place of the "non-smiling" is Afghanistan, followed by Turkey, Lebanon, Nepal, Serbia and then, as mentioned, Israel.
Right after us - Egypt, North Macedonia and Algeria.
In contrast, the countries whose residents reported the highest level of continuous enjoyment in life were
Iceland, Paraguay, Denmark, Ireland and Cambodia
(respectively), while the bottom five countries in this ranking were Lebanon, Afghanistan, Turkey, Egypt and Sierra Leone.
