A contestant in the new season of "Ninja Israel" was injured tonight (between Monday and Tuesday) and had to undergo immediate surgery after being injured during the filming of the show in Haifa port.
The incident occurred when the contestant fell on one of the program's obstacles, and was injured.
According to eyewitnesses who were on the filming set, she was referred to Rambam Hospital in the city with a leg injury. From there she was transferred to Tel Hashomer Hospital in Ramat Gan for surgery.
According to one of those involved in the incident, the contestant "arrived there with her parents. She screamed in pain and remained for treatment for several hours, until she was transferred to another hospital."
This is not the first time that contestants have been injured during the filming of the show, as several contestants have been injured throughout the seasons, including Yossi Ben Yosef and Gur Arad.
