“My dear Olivia, you have made our lives all so much better,” began John Travolta.
The actor has indeed paid tribute to Olivia Newton-John, who died at the age of 73 of breast cancer, Monday, August 8.
“You had an incredible impact, continued the hero of
Grease
(1978) in the caption of a vintage photo of his former partner.
I love you so much.
We will meet again along the road, and we will be together again.
Faithful, from the day I first saw you and forever.
Your Danny, your John.”
The interpreter of Danny Zuko is not the only one to have split a poignant message after the announcement of this disappearance.

A "luminous" actress
“Livvie brought the most divine light to this world… meanwhile wrote Nicole Kidman in the caption of a snapshot of her, the star and Keith Urban, posted on Instagram.
So much love, joy, inspiration, kindness… And we will always be hopelessly devoted to you (
Hopelessly Devoted To You

A title taken up by Kate Hudson in an Instagram video, posted on Monday August 8.
We see the actress, her daughter on her knees, sing the title in front of the lens.
“Olivia Newton-John, she commented in the caption of this sequence.
There are few people in my life who have inspired me so much that I would lock myself in my room and sing at the top of my lungs in front of the mirror.
Imitating each of his gestures, with the desire to know how to reproduce his perfect high notes (…).
What a beautiful light this human being is.”
“Too young to leave this world”
For her part, Barbra Streisand has published a vintage snapshot, on which she poses alongside Olivia Newton-John.
“Too young to leave this world,” she lamented.
May she rest in peace."
Kylie Minogue, for her part, underlined how much the interpreter of Sandy Olsson represented a model for her.
“Since I was 10, I have always loved and admired Olivia Newton-John, she said on Twitter, in a message embellished with a photograph of the duo, immortalized in black and white.
And I always will.
(Just like in this shot @nfsaonline).
She was, and always will be, an inspiration to me in many ways.
My deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.
ONJ FOREVER.”

“It was my first crush”
Australian actor Hugh Jackman also praised the talent of his compatriot, who arrived in Oceania at the age of 6.
"I'm devastated to learn that @therealonj has passed away," he captioned a vintage photograph of the duo.
Getting to know him was one of the greatest privileges of my life.
She was not only one of the most talented people I know… She was also one of the most sincere, generous and funny.
Before adding: “She had a unique spirit.
Everyone knows that was my first crush.
I kissed him (his poster) every night before I went to bed.
His legacy will only grow stronger in the years to come.
A cancer fighter who knew no bounds.
I love you, Olivia."
Comedian Rebel Wilson called the actress a “true icon” in her Instagram story.
But perhaps the most moving tribute remains that of Olivia Newton-John's husband, John Easterling.
"For 30 years, Olivia has been a beacon of triumphs and hope as she shares her battle with breast cancer," he said in a statement.
He urged fans of the actress to donate to his wife's foundation, dedicated to cancer research.
