(ANSA) - BEIJING, AUGUST 09 - China is using air and sea exercises around Taiwan to prepare for the invasion of the island and to change the status quo in the Asia-Pacific region.
This is what Taipei Foreign Minister Joseph Wu said, according to which "China used the exercises and its military manual to prepare for the invasion of Taiwan".
Speaking at a press conference, Wuha added that "Beijing's real intention is to alter the status quo in the Taiwan Strait and the Asia-Pacific region."
