French fries are fried rays of sunshine.
What's better than fries?
Of course a huge plate with fries and lots of toppings on it!
The trend is called Loaded Fries and you've probably already come across it.
The origin of the delicious party food can be found in Canada.
The Canadian national dish is called poutine, and behind it is a portion of crispy fries, soaked in delicious gravy and topped with lots of cheese.
If that doesn't sound good?
That's how it's done:
You need these ingredients:
Frieze:
500 g fries for the oven
ground beef:
3 tbsp cooking oil
500 g minced beef
2 garlic cloves, chopped
1 tsp salt
0.5 tsp pepper
0.5 tsp paprika powder
Guacamole:
1 avocado, ready to eat
1 tsp salt
0.5 tsp pepper
0.5 lime, squeezed
100 g tomato, diced
50 g red onion, diced
toppings:
200 g crème fraîche
50 g red onion, sliced
200g feta, crumbled
6 tbsp coriander leaves
4 tablespoons Sriracha
1 lime, in wedges
The preparation is simple:
For the fries: Spread the fries out on a baking sheet and prepare according to the package instructions.
For the guacamole:
Remove the flesh from the avocado and mix with the lime juice, salt and pepper with a fork and chop.
Mix in tomatoes and onion.
Put aside.
For the minced meat:
Heat cooking oil in a pan.
Fry the ground beef in it until crumbly.
Season with garlic, salt, pepper and paprika powder.
Put aside.
Arrange fries on a platter.
Top with minced meat, guacamole and crème fraîche.
Sprinkle with remaining red onions, jalapemno and cilantro.
Zack - done!
