That of daily hospital admissions?

-24%.

And in critical care?

-16% new patients admitted daily.

All the indicators of the 7th wave of the Covid-19 epidemic have been falling sharply for a month.

The government had refused to make it compulsory to wear a mask elsewhere than in the hospital, for example in transport, even if it was “very strongly recommended” there.

Some see it as proof that “measures are useless”.

In reality, things are less clear cut.
