Former US cycling star Lance Armstrong has married his longtime partner and yoga teacher Anna Hansen.
Both shared photos of the wedding ceremony on Instagram and Facebook on Tuesday.
They gave a winery in Provence, France, as the place for the celebration.
'Best day ever.
I married the love of my life," Armstrong wrote.
It was "something very special" that her children were present at the wedding.
There was much laughter and tears of joy that evening.
Armstrong added a declaration of love to his wife: »Anna, you have been my absolute rock for the last 14 years and I have to say quite clearly that I would not have survived them without you.
I'm so proud of the couple we've become - we had to work for it, work really hard, and I'm so glad we did.
I love you more than anything and will always be there for you and our family.«
Armstrong and Hansen have been a couple since 2008 and got engaged in 2017. The low point in the career of the former cycling star also fell during their relationship.
A year later, in an interview with Oprah Winfrey, he first admitted to having taken performance-enhancing substances.
The professional cyclist has a son, 22, and two twin daughters, 20, from his first marriage.
With Hansen he had a son, 13, and a daughter, 11.
