When she finally wanted to break up with Giggs after a long and troubled on-off relationship, Giggs physically assaulted her at his home in Worsley, Salford in November 2020.

Giggs was drunk and angry.

Greville said she then called the police, which upset Giggs.

"It will ruin me and it will ruin you," he is said to have said.

In fact, Giggs, 48, resigned from his job as manager of the Wales national football team after being charged.

Giggs was temporarily arrested for the alleged attacks on the two women, but was released after posting bail.

At a court hearing last year, he rejected all of the sisters' allegations, and in the ongoing trial he denies all charges relating to the period from December 2017 to November 2020.

Kate Greville said she found out before the final altercation that Giggs had been in relationships with at least eight other women.

"I knew everything he had done behind my back and for the first time I had proof of it because he always managed to fool me that it was all pipe dreams and lies and that I was crazy."
