Disney + puts online, this Wednesday, five touching three-minute vignettes, detailing the childhood of their vegetable sidekick Groot.

This little tree, on which twigs and buds grow at will, has a strong character worthy of the mood swings of a teenager.

Like the Shadoks, his vocabulary only includes a handful of words -

"My name is Groot"

uttered over and over - but he has more than one blunder and misadventure up his sleeve.

Enough to overshadow the terrible and capricious Denis the Malice.

Disney+'s expertise in animation is well established, as evidenced by the delicious short films that precede the Pixar films.

Coming from stop motion, director Kirsten Lepore gives her little bush an astonishing expressiveness in 3D.
