Police officers shot dead a man armed with a knife at Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle airport in Paris.
The man threatened the officers with a knife on Wednesday morning, the police headquarters in the French capital said on Twitter.
According to airport officials, airport security guards had called border police to evict a homeless man from Terminal 2F.
The man insulted the officials, but initially left, it said.
Then he turned around and pulled out a knife.
One of the officers then shot him.
A photographer from the AFP news agency who observed the scene reported that the tall man ran towards the officers despite a warning.
The police officer then killed him with a single shot.
