(ANSA) - MOSCOW, AUG 10 - The Russian 'no-war' journalist MarinaOvsyannikova was stopped by the police on charges of "having credited" the army: her lawyer, Dmitri Zakhvatov, told AFP.
"We are currently with investigators.
An investigation has been opened" against Ovsyannikova for "dissemination of false information" about the Russian military, the lawyer said, adding that the reporter "has been stopped".
Ovsyannikova is known for surprisingly appearing live in front of the cameras of Russian state television during the news, showing a sign against the war in Ukraine ordered by Vladimir Putin.
