This is something to delight French cinema, which has not always been in great shape in recent months.
"La Nuit du 12" has met with unexpected success with nearly 300,000 admissions since its release in mid-July and even slightly more admissions in the third week (72,629) than in the second (72,191) and very good maintenance in week 4. So much so that the number of copies, currently around 400, has been doubled.
The film is doing well in arthouse theaters and multiplexes, and not just in Paris, and has already gone well beyond “Only the Beasts”, director Dominik Moll’s previous feature film – revealed by “Harry, a friend who wants you good” – which only attracted 109,247 curious people.
