The district court in Aachen found the man guilty of serious sexual abuse of children, sexual abuse of wards and several child pornography offenses

A man from North Rhine-Westphalia was sentenced to four years and three months in prison by the Aachen Regional Court on Thursday for sexually abusing his step-child.
The case was reported by a sex worker who suddenly saw a mop of hair in the man's lap during a paid Internet chat, a court spokesman said.
She asked about it, and the man then showed her the child.
With the presence of mind, the woman pulled out her cell phone and filmed the whole thing and took a picture of the man.
She then informed the Internet platform and thus found his address.
According to the report, he was arrested the same evening.
The district court has now found him guilty of serious sexual abuse of children, sexual abuse of wards and several child pornography offenses.
According to a report in the Aachener Zeitung, the court recognized the sex worker's civil courage.
The presiding judge called the woman's behavior "unusual and admirable".
