That didn't fit: A coach got stuck under a bridge in Augsburg.
The roof tore several meters on Thursday, as a spokesman for the Augsburg fire brigade announced.
At four meters, the double-decker bus was about 50 centimeters too high for the bridge.
According to the information, no one was injured.
There were no passengers on board.
It is still unclear whether the bridge was damaged in the accident, it said.
Experts checked the statics.
According to the fire department, the bus was carefully pulled out of the underpass with the help of a special towing vehicle.
Significant traffic disruptions occurred during the rescue work.
