I immediately felt comfortable reading this novel.

The language is very pleasant and flowery and, to my delight, begins directly with the description of how to maintain and style a mohawk.

I found this to be a metaphor for cultivating human relationships.

Life is buzzing in Gis-DurAlice is a beekeeper who lost her footing after the unexpected death of her husband.

Jake has been in a wheelchair since an accident and only finds joy in music because he has perfect pitch.

Harry is extremely shy and has trouble socializing and finding a job. The three couldn't be more different, but the bees bring them together and make them a family.

The two young men help the beekeeper to take care of her more than 100,000 bees until Jake realizes a problem: In some hives he can no longer hear the humming of the queen.

When the melody of the bees threatens to fall silent, the three of them can only save it by joining forces.

A truly wonderful book about friendships that become family and the desire to be together.

If you like bees and about coping with difficult life situations, you've come to the right place with this novel.

With an empathetic and likeable manner, the author Eileen Garvin has made an incredibly beautiful debut here.

My heart is still warm and it left a touch of motivation.

The desire to be able to somehow master everything in life and not disappear into a dark hole.

A reading recommendation for everyone who urgently needs to get away from their everyday lives and should listen to the "melody of the bees".

I didn't want to put the novel down again.
