Beyond the camping experience - from snuggles to stargazing - this is one of the best decisions to start a year with, certainly before it starts to get cold.

So get 12 offers for three types of camping, suitable for every pocket and every level of indulgence: luxurious, air-conditioned and luxurious glamping tents, regulated and pampering camping complexes and also free overnight campsites in nature.

The most luxurious: glamping complexes

I will lie on the sea

shore, sea, western Galilee.

Farthest from anything reminiscent of the news flash.

In Achziv, a luxurious and well-equipped glamping complex was inaugurated several years ago, housing about 20 premium tents, made of fine canvas fabric.

The tents themselves "sit" on wooden slats, which include a balcony, and some overlook the sea right from the first line.

Each tent boasts an area of 20 square meters and includes a double bed, an extra bed, a fan, various bedding and the option to add an air conditioner (for an additional fee). Each such accommodation space also includes an electricity connection, a mini-bar and an outdoor shower. The tents are designed to accommodate up to Six guests. In addition, the entire complex offers outdoor kitchens (sink, barbecues, refrigerators, cooking points, etc.), as well as access to water sports activities offered at the beach.

Price:

NIS 1,500-850 for four guests (the price varies depending on the distance of the tent from the water line).

The Rider Experience, Beit Oren

Another glamping in the north - but in the near north.

Which means that if you live in the central area, you will drive a total of about an hour to this candy that awaits you in the Carmel area.

This is "Suite Be Teva", a chain of camping complexes that belongs to the "Rider Experience".

Here we sleep in glamping tents, brought from Denmark.

An air conditioner was installed in each tent, and it includes beds for parents and children, a mini fridge, a comfortable sitting area, electrical points and more.

Also, you should know that unlike other places, the payment for the accommodation includes not only the accommodation but also the meals and attractions that are offered there.

In simple words, you have nothing to worry about as far as activities with the little ones are concerned, because they are already included in the package.

For example, activity at the horse farm, extreme complex, off-road vehicle, archery and more.

The complex itself extends near Kibbutz Beit Oren, on an area looking towards the sea, in the heart of a green forest.

In addition to the tents, you can also spend the night in equipped trailers.

Each tent has access to its own private shower and toilet.

Price:

The "all inclusive" package is offered for NIS 2,160 per night for a family (two children, two adults).

Supplement for each child: NIS 300.

Special discount for booking two nights.

Each yurt includes an air conditioner, and it is covered with thick, high-quality fabric.

Each yurt is located on a wooden platform, with mattresses, lighting, a refrigerator and an adjoining sitting area.

The toilets and sinks are a short distance away, and you can choose from several sizes of tents - from four to a dozen guests.

Price:

NIS 445, 495 or NIS 1,025 per yurt (depending on size).

Please note that this price includes the entrance fee to the water park (NIS 88 per person per night and day)

Adjacent to each tent is a sitting area (with a table), and the entire complex has a large lawn, shared kitchen stations, barbecue areas, toilets and showers, buffet and more.

Those who stay in the VIP complex are entitled to receive one activity free of charge, such as entry to the "Top-Rope" adventure park, family kayaking, a movie in the evening and more.

Khan Barot, Ramon Crater

This is one of the more popular camping complexes in the Negev, and this is due to its winning location - in the heart of Ramon Crater, and within arm's reach of the winding hiking trails in the area.

Just wake up, drink coffee and go out into nature.

And to all these added the experience of watching the stars, which emerge from here on clear nights in all their sparkle.

The large complex includes sleeping areas under shade sheds, and these are intended for private tents.

In addition, there is an option to sleep in a spacious Bedouin tent, which would be more suitable for a group of several families.

Free overnight parking

Rakit parking lot, the Carmel

It turns out that even in a place so popular during the holidays, you can still find (relatively) hidden spots here and there, which offer pleasant overnight parking.

However, you should of course arrive early (good advice for all the free parking lots in Israel).

In the Carmel area, there is a Rakit parking lot - which offers not only accommodation, but also access to hiking trails and cute paths in the heart of the forest.

And unlike many free parking lots, there are water points for drinking and organized toilets.

This is next to picnic tables planted in front of the view.

Price:

Free.

To know more:

Shreig parking lot, Britannia Park

It turns out that even in the central area (plus-minus) there are free overnight parking lots in the heart of nature.

In the Britannia Park, halfway between Gush Dan and the Jerusalem area, this overnight parking lot awaits you, which also offers easy itineraries for the whole family.

Try, for example, the "Sheil Sharigam".

The parking lot itself is decorated with pine trees, and has minimal infrastructure.

This parking lot does not include any infrastructure, but in return - you will get an authentic desert atmosphere and a starry sky.

Price:

Free.

Gesher Lehavot HaBashan Park The

advice to arrive early and get a spot in the free parking lots is especially valid at this beautiful and popular site, which was inaugurated a few years ago and offers field lodging within touching distance of the Jordan Bank (or actually, one of the Jordan Canals).

Here, on an area of about ten dunams, you will find lawns designed for private tents, car parking and well-maintained paths.

The place has wading points, toilets, taps, picnic tables and accessibility for the disabled.

Price:

Free.

Know more:

The overnight parking lot is between Gesher Hapak and Sde Nehemiah (arriving from Route 977)
