(ANSA) - ROME, AUGUST 11 - France has closed the Biriatou border crossing again oggiai trucks due to the vast fire in the Gironde region that advanced in the Landes area after burning almost 7,000 hectares.
The closure caused a significant traffic jam, up to five kilometers, in the Spanish city of Irún, in the province of Guipuzco.
They are all lined up on one side of the road.
The Pais reports.
The passage is open for other vehicles but the cars are diverted to the A-64 to bypass the surrounding fire area.
