(ANSA) - NEW YORK, 11 AUG - After almost 60 years of career Steve Martin decides to say goodbye to acting.

"It is, strangely, so" -said the same comedian in an interview with the Hollywood Reporter specifying that 'Only Murders in theBuilding' will be his swan song.

The television series, created by Martin and John Hoffman himself, debuted on the Hulu platform on August 31, 2021, in Italy it is available on Disney +.


   The second season is currently underway.

Among the protagonists are Steve Martin (Charles-Haden Savage), Martin Short (Oliver Putnam) and Selena Gomez (Mabel Mora) who, after discovering a horrible death in an Upper WestSide building, the imaginary Arconia Building, from Strangers in the building immediately suspect that it is murder and team up to investigate what happened.

While recording a podcast documenting the case, the three uncover the palace's secrets concerning events that happened long ago.
