Neckarsulm – Supermarkets like Rewe, Aldi and Edeka are increasingly focusing on sustainability.
In this context, the Kaufland supermarket chain is focusing in particular on a sustainable product range.
The company is currently testing so-called unpackaged stations in eight branches.
As a tweet from Kaufland explains, groceries without plastic packaging can be purchased there, for example rice, muesli and pasta.
Kaufland customer demands pizza vending machine: "It would be cool"
A Twitter user responded to Kaufland's tweet with an idea that many people should like: "And when will there be Dr.
Oetker pizza vending machine with you dear Kaufland team?
Your bakery is fine, but a whole lunch would be awesome."
The user shared a picture of a Dr.
Oetker.
Pizza Vending Machine: Pizza in a few minutes
That's right - there are actually vending machines that prepare a warm pizza in just a few minutes.
Cooled inside the machine, the selected type of pizza is automatically pushed into a small oven and baked there, usually for three to five minutes.
The finished pizza is then handed out to the customer in a box.
Not only dr.
Oetker offers such machines.
The small company "Pizza Jolo" operates two pizza vending machines in Saarland.
Created during the corona pandemic, the machines are still a source of enthusiasm.
But the small pizzerias have also found their way into the other federal states.
The machine prepares the pizza freshly in just a few minutes.

Pizza machine: Dr.
Oetker is still in the test phase
In Essen, however, the pizza machine from Dr.
Oetker only stayed four months in front of the local Rewe on Katernberger Straße.
As Dr. Oetker spokesman Matthias Hanigk explained, it is a "planned relocation".
For the test phase, the company has a limited number of pizza machines that are being tested at various locations throughout Germany, such as canteens, gas stations and amusement parks.
So it will be interesting to see where future pizza machines from Dr.
Oetker and Co. will be there and thus "a whole lunch" can be provided.
Aldi recently had a pizza failure.
