Two months after Jason Alexander was arrested outside Britney Spears' house, the singer's ex-husband has been convicted of trespassing and assault.
According to a statement from the Ventura County Attorney's Office, Alexander, 40, did not deny the allegations against him.
In this way he got around a process, it was said.
After 64 days in custody, he had served his sentence.
According to the information, he must continue to keep a distance of almost a hundred meters.
A court had imposed a corresponding ban on contact shortly after the incident for a period of three years.
Spears married her childhood friend Alexander in Las Vegas in 2004, but the marriage was annulled after 55 hours.
In June of this year, he trespassed on the singer's property in California.
Preparations were underway there for the wedding of Spears, 40, and Sam Ashgari, 28. The two said yes later that evening in front of dozens of prominent guests.
According to the police report, Alexander became violent when a security guard asked him to leave the house.
