Ingredients in the low-carb kitchen
Be careful substituting some ingredients if you are new to low carb recipes.
Erythritol and xylitol are sugar substitutes that vary in sweetness.
This is how the different quantities come about.
In any case, you should use a ground or powdered variant so that there are no crystals in the cake.
There is also a risk of confusion with the ground almonds: do not use de-oiled almond flour here.
This binds liquid differently than ground nuts and would lead to a different baking result.
