Police operation in Paderborn: The car had to be towed

In Paderborn, a car collided with a bus.
According to the police, 21 people were injured in the accident.
A number of school children were among them.
According to the investigators, a 75-year-old had got into the oncoming lane with her car when turning right and crashed head-on into the bus with almost 40 people.
The woman's Opel was "spun around 180 degrees."
The senior had suffered serious injuries, and 20 people on the bus were slightly injured.
These included the bus driver and 14 boys and girls aged 10 to 15.
Another 19 occupants were unharmed.
In addition to the driver, numerous victims were taken from the bus to a hospital by rescue workers.
With the exception of the 75-year-old, everyone has now been able to leave the clinic.
The bus was only slightly damaged, the Opel was a total loss and had to be towed away.
