(ANSA) - BOLOGNA, AUGUST 13 - The commercial operations of the Rojen cargo ship flying the Maltese flag and loading of 15 million tons of corn seeds destined for feed for livestock are underway at the port of Ravenna, 'Cereali' dock, which left Chornomorsk , near Odessa, on August 5, as part of trade agreements that reopen exports from Ukraine.
The cargo arrived at anchor in Ravenna yesterday morning but the mooring on the quay took place only in the late evening due to the operations of an other ship that were slowed down by bad weather.
The Ukrainian ambassador Yaroslav Melnyk and the commander Francesco Cimmino, maritime director of Emilia-Romagna, welcomed the boat on the quay, with the personnel of the Coast Guard who is supervising the operations.
The operations will last at least about 30 hours.
As far as he learns, they should end on Tuesday 16 August.
On the same day at the port of Ravenna another ship from Ukraine is expected - the Sacura, with 11 thousand tons of soybeans destined for animal feed - while the Mv Mustafa Necati, with 6 thousand tons of crude seed oil, should land at the Apulian port of Monopol. of sunflower.
