The airport on the island of Skiathos in Greece has one of the most dangerous runways in the world which attracts many "planespotters", people who like to take pictures of planes landing.
On August 5, a plane from the Hungarian company Wizz Air from Naples, Italy, brushed very, very close to the heads of tourists when it landed at Skiathos airport.
In these images, the plane can be seen passing a few meters from the head of a photographer just before landing.
This airstrip is a haunting sight for airline pilots because it is short, measuring only 1.5 km and very narrow.
The landings at this airport are therefore very spectacular and as the runway is a few meters from the beach, planes must approach close to the ground.
Literally, a few meters from the heads of the curious.
Planespotters hope to take close-up photos of the plane.
But this activity is not without risk.
In 2021, a child was injured in the same place after being propelled through the air by the blast of an airplane's engines.
He had been transported to the hospital but his injuries had been judged not serious because he had fallen back into the sand.
