Spaghetti and sauce in one pot, a genius recipe (Photo: Nimrod Saunders)
Today I decided to teach the girls how to make pasta even when mom is not at home and didn't leave pasta and sauce to heat up.
Because although it is not complicated to make pasta, most children have a problem with the step where they strain the cooked pasta from the boiling water, and rightly so.
So you will soon see that it is possible without filtering and without cooking in boiling water.
I'm sure you're all used to making the sauce and cooking the pasta in two separate pots.
But now you will learn to make tomato and basil pasta in one pot.
Try and enjoy.
Please note:
do not be alarmed by the amount of liquid in the recipe, and there is no need to filter at the end.
The pasta here, similar to the flakes, absorbs most of the liquid and the flavors of the sauce, and at the end of the process you are left with soft and flavorful pasta.
Just throw everything into the pot: pasta, tomatoes, basil, olive oil, garlic and a liter of water.
Easiest in the world.

Preparation
How to make tomato spaghetti in one pot?
1 Put all the ingredients in a large pot that can contain all the ingredients (a pot for cooking pasta will do).
2 Cover and bring to a boil, taste and make sure the liquid is salty enough.
Cover and cook over low heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the water is absorbed and the pasta is soft.
3 Serve with fresh basil leaves and crumbled goat feta cheese.
