Zvika Peak
passed away today (Sunday).
Pick, who is considered one of the pioneers of pop in the State of Israel, left behind an interesting and action-packed life, and we are not only talking about wonderful music but scandals that starred in the gossip sections.
Amazingly, despite being one of the most famous people in the country, Pick has managed to keep his personal life out of the limelight.
Despite his high status, he completely dominated the way his life was portrayed in the media.
Apart from an extravagant wardrobe, Peek lived an unusual life, which we were all exposed to in the reality show "The Maestro".

, gave cameras free access to their lives, and we were privileged to see them in their luxurious home, in restaurants and even in the supermarket.
The couple met when Manor was 18, and Peek was 36 years her senior.
They met at a party, and after bumping into each other at several social events, decided to try and have a relationship.

The couple, and especially Manor, came under fire from all sides.
She was called derogatory names, it was claimed that she is with him only because he is a rich man, and from watching the reality show, an unconventional relationship emerged.
Despite the criticism leveled at them, the two managed to maintain a stable and loving home, and gave birth to two sons together.

Celebs in the past, told about the relationship: "If you have a beautiful relationship, and I have a beautiful relationship with Shira, it's natural that children will come too. I'm happy to be a father. Tap Tap, I'm a happy person."
Manor stood by Peak after he suffered a stroke in 2018, but three years later it was revealed that the two had decided to separate after 17 years together.
A few days after the reports of the breakup, it became clear that Shira is in a new relationship with an anonymous man.

Peak had another, and particularly stormy, relationship with
Dana International
.
In 1998, International made history, and won the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Diva" which Peak wrote.
The two's close friendship ran aground after the win, and Pick addressed the crisis in a series of interviews he gave.
"It saddens me that at every opportunity she stings me or talks about the money I earned from 'Diva'. My God, I wrote this song! I kept my mouth shut for a whole decade, and recently decided not to anymore. It really saddens me that I'm in her mouth all the time, that's what She has such a scratch. She just takes care of me," he told Maariv in an interview.
International paid tribute to Pick today, and told about the relationship that prevailed between them: "Dear Zvika, I love you very much. After winning the Eurovision, our relationship broke down, but now I can say what I didn't tell you out loud: I always loved you. We were opposites in character."
