It's Water Ice Cream Day!
Cold, sweet and easy to lick - we're talking about water ice, of course!
Even as a child, popsicles (or from a squeeze bag) made from water, fruit and sugar were a real hit!
And even as adults, we look forward to a little cooling off to snack on.
That's why we've created a water ice cream recipe for you with a few turns.
But beware: not every cocktail freezes and is suitable as a delicious popsicle.
Because pure alcohol has a lower freezing point (- 114.14 °C) than water.
So, as is so often the case, it all depends on the mix.
That's how it's done:
You only need a few ingredients:
Espresso Martini Popsicles:
100 ml of vodka
150ml espresso
50 ml coffee liqueur
100 grams of ice cubes
1.5 tbsp brown sugar
Decoration:
coffee beans
White chocolate, melted
Brittle
Besides that:
ice mold
popsicle sticks
The preparation is very quick:
For the espresso martini popsicles:
Mix the vodka, coffee liqueur and espresso.
Add brown sugar and ice cubes and stir until dissolved.
Place popsicle sticks in the ice cube mold.
Pour the liquid into the prepared ice cube mold and decorate with 2-3 coffee beans per popsicle.
Place in freezer for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Dip the completely frozen popsicles in melted (but cooled!) white chocolate and sprinkle with brittle.
Cheers!
