Pick burst into the public consciousness when he was chosen in the early seventies to star in the lead role as an actor and singer in the musical "Hair".

In the 1990s Pick had a comeback that started with a concert tour with the Jerusalem band "Noushai Maggavat" and continued with the melody he wrote for the song "Diva" for Dana International, with which she won Eurovision 1998. After that, the musical "Mary Lou" was staged at the "Habima" theater, based on his old hits.

Throughout the seventies Peak won many prestigious awards, including "album of the year" and "singer of the year".

At the peak of his success, the biography "Angel or Devil" written about him by journalist Dodo Oren was published.

Zvika Pick was one of the first Israeli artists to receive extreme expressions of admiration.
