(ANSA) - ROME, AUGUST 15 - Agcom intervenes on the 'gravidisservices' recorded yesterday in the broadcast of Serie A matches by Dazn, who has been awarded the rights to broadcast the matches of the Italian football championship.
The Authority for Guarantees in Communication makes it known in a note that it has asked the streaming platform for 'urgent clarifications' on what has happened and 'to swiftly provide for the compensation provided for by the last resolution of the Authority'.
'Following the serious inefficiencies recorded during the broadcasting of football matches on the first day of the Serie A championship and the numerous reports received - the Authority's note reads - Agcom urgently asked Dazn for clarification on what happened and how the company is working to avoid the repetition of inefficiencies on the occasion of the next day '.
'Agcom - continues the note - has also asked Dazn to swiftly provide for the compensation envisaged by the last resolution adopted by the Authority.
Agcom reserves the right, following the in-depth analysis and its own evaluations, to adopt any initiative that will become necessary '.
