(ANSA) - LONDON, AUG 15 - British writer NicholasEvans, famous for his novel "The Horse Whisperer", died last Tuesday at the age of 72 of a heart attack.
The family announced it today.
Released in 1995, "The Horse Whisperer" sold over 15,000 copies worldwide and became bestsellers in 20 countries.
In 1998, a film of the same name was made with a Scarlett Johansson child as Grace MacLean, whom the dicavalli trainer played by Robert Redford helps recover after an accident.
Among his other novels published by Evans, "Together with wolves" (2000), "In the fire" (2002), "When the sky is divided" (2005) and "Only if you have courage" (2010).
