(ANSA) - PARIS, AUG 15 - The French withdrawal from Mali is complete, and the last soldiers have left the African country today, the French general staff announced from Paris.
Present in support of the Bamako government against jihadist rebels for almost a decade, the French military contingent was disengaged by decision of President Emmanuel Macrond after Paris entered into conflict with the military junta that took power in Mali in August 2020. (ANSA ).
