(ANSA) - LONDON, AUGUST 15 - The health authorities of the United Kingdom have approved an updated version of the modern society's anti-Covid vaccine specifically designed to combat the Omicron variant, as well as the original form of the virus.
The National Medicines Agency (MHRA) announced in a statement that it had approved the vaccine for booster doses for adults "after it was found to comply with the safety, quality and efficacy standards of the British regulatory body" and capable of provoking a "strong immune response" against both strains.
