A woman killed by a pirate car in the Caserta area

A 34-year-old girl of Polish origin was hit and killed by a pirate car in Castel Volturno (Caserta).

It happened on the night of August 15th.


According to what was ascertained by the Traffic Police, the woman was crossing the Domiziana state road and was in the company of two friends, when a Nissan Micra came out and hit her in full;

the Nissan driver left the car on the street and fled.

The 34-year-old, according to reports from her friends, in shock after the accident, resided in Naples and was on vacation in Castel Volturno.

The car that killed a woman should no longer have been on the road, as it was scrapped, so there is no owner.

For the investigators of the Polstrada di Caserta it will therefore not be easy to identify the driver;

at the moment images have been acquired from video surveillance cameras and few testimonies, as only the friends of the victim are present on the spot.

Other investigations on the vehicle are also underway.
