Do you know the Nutella people and the Dawn Chocolate people and their war about who is tastier?

I have a surprise for you -

chocolate cookies with soft and warm candy of any spread you like - Nutella or Hashachar.

Here's the time to confess - I'm a Nutella woman, biased by nuts like myself.

The principle is very simple: they made you frozen candies from chocolate spread.

know what?

Not just chocolate, any nut butter would be great too.

Peanut butter, almond butter, whatever you like as a surprise inside the chocolate sandwich.

In the meantime, work on the dough and prepare the cookie.

When the candies are completely frozen (it doesn't have to sit in the freezer for two hours. Even half an hour would be good), place them on the cookie and prepare the other half of the cookie for a sandwich.

15 minutes on the clock and you have a cookie filled with Nutella.

How beautiful are they?

Kind of like a baked Kinder egg, only without the toy.

A few words before:

* It is always recommended to cool a cookie, especially if it has butter, before it goes into the oven.

As cold as it is, it will maintain its initial state and will not spread.

If you have time - chill.

* This cookie is actually a sandwich.

Therefore, don't skip the step of dividing the dough in half - it's not pleasant to get stuck with a cookie that is only a slice.

* The cake is relatively large.

The recipe makes about 10 cookies.

It didn't stop my kids from eliminating a tray in an hour.

Preparation

How do you make Nutella filled chocolate cookies?

  • 1 Line a baking sheet with baking paper and lightly oil it with oil spray.

  • 2 Using a spring spoon or two spoons, form spoon-sized balls of Nutella spread and arrange on top of the pan.

Put in the freezer for at least half an hour.

  • 3 Heat the oven to 180 degrees.

Line an (additional) baking sheet with baking paper, lightly oil it and set aside.

  • 4

    Prepare the dough:

put the butter and sugar in a medium bowl.

Using a hand mixer, mix well until you get an airy and uniform paste.

Add vanilla extract and mix well.

Add an egg and mix well until a uniform paste is obtained.

  • 5 In another bowl, sift the flour and cocoa powder.

Add the baking powder, baking soda and salt.

    mix well.

  • 6 Pour the flour-cocoa mixture into the wet bowl, and on low speed mix the dough just until it comes together (avoid overmixing).

  • 7 Divide the dough into two parts.

Using wet hands, form 10 balls of equal size from the first half and flatten them evenly with the palm of your hand on the baking sheet.

    Tip:

Every time the dough feels too sticky, wet your hands.

This will make the work process easier.

Arrange the cookies in a tray with large spaces between them, if necessary use two baking trays.

  • 8 Take the Nutella balls out of the freezer, put each ball in the center of the cookie.

  • 9 Repeat the process with the other half of the dough, and cover the cookie with a second dough cookie.

At this point, it is recommended to put the cookie tray in the refrigerator, for at least 10 minutes, this will help to stabilize the cookies during baking.

  • 10 Put the tray in an oven heated to 180 degrees, for 15 minutes (bul) baking.

  • 11 Take out the cookies and do not touch them for at least 15 minutes.

    They are very soft.

Gently transfer the cookies to a cooling rack (if there is one) and let them cool for an hour.
