Customers angry: Rama margarine advertised is not the same in the supermarket

The margarine of the Rama brand is actually advertised very large in Kaufland's advertising brochure.

The 500-gram pack is even said to be available in the branches at a “scoop price”.

But several customers were bitterly disappointed with their purchase: "From today, the 500g cup of Rama for 1.19 euros will be advertised in brochures and on the radio.

In the shop, however, there is only the 'cheating pack' with 400g content," reported an annoyed customer on Monday on Kaufland's official Facebook page.

The customer is not the only one whose branch does not seem to offer the margarine in quantity.

"Not even the employees noticed.

I feel a bit aggravated!”, another customer also complains on Facebook and sends a photo of the corresponding offer.

A third customer, who only noticed the error at home, is outraged at Kaufland.

Another supermarket giant now wants to completely abolish its advertising brochures.

Trouble at Kaufland: the supermarket apologizes to disappointed customers

In response to the complaints, Kaufland apologized to individual customers on Facebook and pointed out that there was “an error in the prospectus” for the Rama margarine.

"We would like to apologize for this," it said.

The concerns would be forwarded to customer management.

Kaufland thus contradicts the allegations that it would be fraud or kidding the customers and admits the incorrectly stated quantity as an error in the prospectus.

A price change at Rama itself suggests that the specified gram pack is actually an error. Because Rama has now generally replaced its 500 gram packs of margarine with 400 gram packs, and the price has remained the same (see more on this in the video).

The anger among customers who went shopping because of offers like Rama margarine is still palpable.

Because in individual branches, the margarine is said not to have been available at all, regardless of the quantity.

“Unfortunately, like so many others, I lost my expensive petrol without getting the Rama.

The store told me it was sold out;

I was told at the information desk that it hadn't been delivered at all," reports another disappointed customer.

Recently, however, the supermarket also surprised its customers positively.

So Kaufland introduced a change for more environmental protection.
