Fritz Roth was 67 years old

The actor Fritz Roth has died.
This was announced by a spokeswoman for Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg in Berlin.
Previously, several media had reported with reference to an obituary from his family, so he died on August 8 after a long, serious illness.
Roth was 67 years old.
Since 2011, Roth has had a permanent place in the investigative team for the crime series "Polizeiruf 110" from Brandenburg.
He played the clerk Wolfgang Neumann there.
He also often appeared as a supporting actor in the other ARD Sunday thriller »Tatort«.
He took part in smaller parts in a number of feature films, such as »Summer on the Balcony« (2005) and »Good Bye, Lenin!« (2003).
In the crime thriller »Polizeiruf 110: Abgrund«, Roth will be seen for the last time in his well-known role in the first in autumn 2022.
