Arai's pita with a patent that is prepared in a toaster
Arais pita with juicy meat without turning on the grill?
It turns out that it is possible, and all thanks to the toaster.

Pita kebab in the home toaster (Photo: Nimrod Saunders)
Get the bestseller of the last week at our house, which officially inaugurated the holiday season - a recipe based on arais or arusa.
Dror Piltz has been serving this as an appetizer in his grill workshop for years, except that I don't have a grill available in my apartment and I toast the pita in a toaster.
Yes, in a toaster!
The patent was born when the girls were hungry, and I had two spicy kebab patties left (that were left outside the plate).
I thought of making a quick lahamajon, but there was already a cheesecake in the oven.
I turned to the hot new toaster, which since that day has been shining through.
Pay attention to an important tip:
so that the toaster doesn't get dirty (careful nervous mom) and doesn't get aftertastes (maybe in the evening we want cheese toast), I taught them to put baking paper on it (complete genius, credit to the seller at the electrical goods store).
Sometimes the baking paper (which browns nicely) finds itself starring in the serving as well, a la ale second.
It's delicious and simple to make so even the kids can easily make it for themselves.

How do you make arais in a toaster?
1 Open the pita bread, apply pepper paste, tahini or oil seasoned with paprika and sprinkle the meat mixture.
Place in the toaster (on baking paper, for quality of life) and toast until golden.
2 Cut into quarters and serve alongside a salad, tahini and fresh vegetables.

The same method also prepares:
chicken and curry pastry
- season ground chicken (preferably chickpeas) with onion, garlic and ginger and spread the pita with green or red curry.
Sounds the same way.
3
Fish and pickled lemon pastry -
season minced fish (it can be any fresh fish - from carp to locust) with onions and herbs, spread the pita with a spread of pickled lemons.
Sounds the same way.
