According to a well-known insider, the developers will not neglect the single player mode of "GTA 6" as was the case with "GTA 5".
Rockstar Games has not yet released official information about the next "Grand Theft Auto", but more and more rumors are circulating about the game.
After all, publisher Take-Two recently confirmed once again that the development of "GTA 6" is in full swing.
But it will probably be a while before we see the first trailer.
From time to time, information about the game is made public via supposed insiders.
A well-known
leaker
recently commented on "GTA 6" on gtaforums.com.
He claims that the developers are already planning new content for the game after the release.
"GTA 6" will receive new cities after the release
The leaker is "Tez2".
He explains in a forum post that "GTA 6" will receive whole "waves of new cities and missions" after the release as DLC.
The developers would therefore already be working on the extensions.
According to "Tez2", the new cities will not be added directly to the existing game world.
Instead, they're supposed to be separate islands, with no seamless transition from city to city - that's supposed to be comparable to Cayo Perico or North Yankton in "GTA 5".
According to a report, Rockstar Games originally planned a huge game world for "GTA 6", but these plans have been changed.
"GTA 6" could get DLCs for the single player mode again - in "GTA 5" they were completely missing.

Many "Grand Theft Auto" fans would certainly be happy about expansions for the single player mode, after they were completely missing in the last part.
"GTA 4" had two excellent DLCs with "The Ballad of Gay Tony" and "The Lost and Damned".
Rockstar Games instead focused on "GTA Online", which of course was also a huge success due to the large number of players.
As expected, the next "Grand Theft Auto" part will also contain an online mode again, but according to the leak, players who prefer single-player will probably not miss out.
