(ANSA) - PANTELLERIA, AUGUST 18 - The vehicles of the Pantelleria Coast Guard evacuated 30 people who were in Gadir at the time of the fire that threatened the homes.
The people were recovered with the ribs and patrol boats of the Coast Guard, who intervened from the sea to allow those who were ready to flee for fear of flames to safety.
At the port of Pantelleria, a 118 ambulance was waiting for the rescue vessels, but none of the rescued people needed to seek medical attention.
