"New Evidence"
"A different court warrants a different representation, especially since so much new evidence is now coming to light," the actress' attorneys simply added in a statement.
"We welcome the opportunity to represent Ms. Heard in this appeal, as this is a case that has significant First Amendment implications for all Americans," Axelrod and Brown said in a joint statement.
“We are confident that the Court of Appeal will properly apply the law without deference to popularity, overturn the judgment against Ms Heard and reaffirm fundamental principles of free speech.”
