Urgent smoothie recall: Manufacturer makes serious mistakes

Attention allergy sufferers: Rossmann is currently warning of smoothies.
The drugstore giant is launching a recall due to incorrect allergen labeling.
Kassel – Information about current food recalls, which make consumers sit up and take notice, is constantly being provided.
The reasons can be different: From incorrect labeling of the ingredients to harmful chemicals that were detected in the article during an inspection.
Now there is an urgent warning against a smoothie.
As the drugstore Rossmann reports, it is the "Haferfreude Smoothie" from the enerBIO own brand.
As the company writes in a press release, it cannot be ruled out that the product contains traces of peanuts, other nuts and sesame, contrary to what is stated.
Dm also recently launched a recall for a smoothie due to incorrect allergen labeling.

Smoothie recall: Rossmann warns allergy sufferers
Incorrect allergen labeling poses an acute health risk for allergy sufferers.
If you consume the affected smoothie despite a food allergy, symptoms such as itching and swelling of the skin, eyes, tongue, mucous membranes and the nose and throat area can occur.
In addition, respiratory and circulatory problems are possible.
An allergy can also manifest itself through nausea, vomiting, flatulence and diarrhea.
In the worst case, however, it can lead to narrowing of the bronchi (allergic asthma) and life-threatening anaphylactic shock.
Allergy sufferers should therefore take the warning seriously and return the affected product to the relevant Rossmann branch.
"The purchase price will of course be refunded to you," the company said in a statement.
However, consumption is safe for people who do not have any allergies of this type.
This smoothie from Rossmann is currently in an urgent recall.
