(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, AUG 16 - Serena Williams came out of the WTA tournament in Cincinnati in the first round, after being defeated in two sets by the British Emma Raducanu.
Williams, who announced last week that they wanted to retire after the US Open, lost neatly to Raducanu 6-4 6-0.
The 40-year-old American left the field immediately after the defeat, without speaking to reporters.
