"Motorized" water skiing on the Grand Canal of Venice, by two unidentified young people who this morning gained the attention of citizens and tourists, intrigued and even indignant at their evolutions between gondolas and vaporettos.
One of the videos, which immediately went viral, was also published by the mayor, Luigi Brugnaro, on his Twitter profile.
The Municipal Police is investigating to understand where the two boys started and arrived from, in order to trace their identity.
"Here are two overbearing idiots - comments Brugnaro - who make a mockery of the city. I ask everyone to help us identify them to punish them, even if our weapons are really blunt, the mayors urgently need more powers in terms of public safety.
