American rapper A$AP Rocky, charged for his role in a shooting last November, pleaded not guilty on Wednesday August 17 in a court in Los Angeles, California.
The 33-year-old musician, charged with two counts of assault with a semi-automatic weapon, was released on $550,000 bail and is due in court again on November 2.
Rakim Mayers, real name, is suspected of pointing his gun at a former friend during an argument last November, then later shooting him twice, inflicting a
'minor wound according
to the police.
The rapper denies these accusations.
The artist was arrested in April at Los Angeles airport, when he got off a private jet from Barbados, where his partner Rihanna is from and with whom he had a child in May.
